Alice was always known for their freeform collaborative approach to tunes and not relying on standard song structure. They incorporated a strategy based system built around ideas that depended on the complete trust and communication between musicians, and thus a fearless ascent into the music as a total group allowing the individual their own unique and identifiable piece of the composition. Even still the music generally found it’s way into more commonly understandable forms to be appreciated by the listeners. Occasionally Alice would stretch out into non-conventional and non-form music ideas as are the tunes here on To The Moon- these are sonic musings of musical architecture.
